021: Inside the Clinton County History Center (w/ Shelby Boatman)

Real Change Wilmington sits down with Clinton County History Center Executive Director Shelby Boatman, to discuss her role as executive director, passion for local history, and events upcoming at the Clinton County History Center.



Boatman is a Wilmington native, graduating from Wilmington High School in 2013, obtaining her undergrad in 2017 from Ashland University, and later masters from NKU in 2020. During the interview, Boatman discusses her taking her current position after volunteering time during her college years. Since becoming executive director Boatman has brought many exciting new exhibits and events to the Clinton County History Center and has great plans for the upcoming seasons.


To get in touch with the Clinton County History Center you can visit the museum Thursdays and Fridays 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Additional visits can be made by request.
